Recommended Read

I just finished AT YOUR COMMAND by Harlequin author, Julie Miller. Wow! This is a great book. Julie not only delivers one yummy hero in Marine Zachariah Clark, but she gives the reader insight into what it's like to watch a loved one be deployed for military duty. AT YOUR COMMAND is hot, tender, action-packed and emotional. I loved the chemistry between Zach and Becky, plus the camaraderie and respect between Zach and the men serving under his command. Zachariah Clark is a true romance hero to steal your heart. AT YOUR COMMAND is a Romantic Times BOOKreviews Top Pick, 4 1/2 Stars, and I can see why! And that's one sizzling cover! I wouldn't mind taking a turn at helping him with that pesky shirt!

Have you read AT YOUR COMMAND ? If so, what did you like about the book? Or do you have another Julie Miller book you'd recommend?

Wow! How cool to be a blog topic! And what a nice review. I'm flattered that you enjoyed the book, Sherry, and took the time to post about it. Thank you!

So what's up next for you? Another Ellora's Cave story? Or more Studs for Hire?

Thanks again!

Well, Julie, actually I'm going to be busy doing both this first part of 2008. I'm currently working on Country Fling, a follow up to Cowboy Fling, which I hope will be published by Ellora's Cave some time this year. Then I have to dive right away into the the third book in the Studs for Hire series.Woman to the Rescue is scheduled to be released in late 2008.

Thanks for asking!
Sherry

At Your Command was a wonderful romance ~ and yummily HOT as well.
I really loved the way that Zach was so sure of his marriage to Becky; granted they definitely had to learn more about who each other was, but his certainty that it was right really got to me.
As far as other favourite Julie Miller books, I'm a big fan of all fo them that I've read, but the one that stuck with me the most is Forbidden Captor. A powerful story about a romance that flourishes in some extremely difficult circumstances ~ and yet flourish it does. Both the H and h were strong, yet very human characters. It still really is *there* in my memory, and it's been months and hundreds of books since I read it.

Cool, Kathy. Sounds like you're a real fan of Julie's. She really has a knack for creating characters that are not only sexy and drool worthy, but characters that we can relate to, and empathize with. Let's hope she keeps writing for years to come!

Hey, Kathy! Good to see you here. I love that you love two of my favorite heroes and books with FORBIDDEN CAPTOR and AT YOUR COMMAND. You have good taste ;)

I hope you'll try Sherry's books as well. COWBOY FLING is my favorite (so far!)--it has the steam factor a Blaze reader will love. And her Studs For Hire books from BVS are just a hoot. Great romance and lots of laughter.

I'll see you on the boards,
Julie Miller
